Terms, Policies & Reservation Conditions

1. Scope

These Terms govern table reservations, private events, wine tastings, and related services offered by The Clandestino USA ("we", "our", "the Restaurant"). By submitting a reservation request (including via our website form or WhatsApp), you agree to these conditions.

2. Reservation Requests & Confirmation

• Submission of the online form does not guarantee availability until confirmed in writing (WhatsApp or email).
• We may request a deposit for groups over 8 guests, premium wine tastings, or custom/private events.
• If a deposit is required, your slot is tentatively held for 24 hours pending payment.

3. Cancellations & No‑Shows

• Standard tables (1–6 guests): Please cancel at least 6 hours in advance.
• Groups (7–12): Cancel at least 24 hours in advance.
• Private or custom events / tastings: Cancel at least 72 hours in advance.
• No‑show or late cancellation of events with deposits may forfeit deposit in whole or part.

4. Arrival & Seating

• We hold tables for a grace period of 15 minutes unless otherwise agreed.
• Partial arrivals may delay service until the full party is present.
• We reserve the right to adjust seating layout for operational efficiency.

5. Special Requests & Dietary Needs

We make reasonable efforts to accommodate dietary restrictions (e.g., vegetarian, vegan, gluten free). Cross‑contamination risk cannot be fully eliminated. Please inform us in advance for allergy coordination.

6. Pricing & Estimates

• Website estimate tool provides an approximate range only—final pricing depends on confirmed menu, wine selection, and added services.
• Quoted prices are in USD and may exclude taxes or service fees for large or private events.

7. Deposits & Payments

• Accepted methods (current): in‑person card, cash, or digital link (Stripe/alternative) if provided.
• Deposits (if applicable) are applied to the final bill.
• Failure to remit a requested deposit within the agreed timeframe may release the reservation.

8. Conduct & Responsible Service

We promote responsible enjoyment of wine. We may decline further alcohol service at our sole discretion for safety or legal compliance purposes.

9. Privacy & Data Use

• Data submitted (name, contact, event details) is used solely to manage your reservation or event.
• We do not sell or share personal data with third parties except essential service providers (e.g., payment processors).
• To request deletion or correction of your data, contact info@theclandestinousa.com.

10. Photography & Media

We may occasionally capture ambiance photos. If you or your guests prefer not to appear, please inform staff upon arrival.

11. Force Majeure

We are not liable for non‑performance caused by events beyond reasonable control (e.g., extreme weather, utility outages, public emergencies). Deposits may be transferred to a future date subject to availability.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of our reservation channels after updates constitutes acceptance.
